Once a homework task has been archived by a teacher, pupils are no longer able to update the status to submitted. This means that tasks will stay indefinitely in their outstanding list.
Various possible solutions:
don't allow archiving while any pupil is still 'pending'
allow pupils to still 'submit' against archived homework
remove archived homework from the pupils task list
